For a small market Town Bridport is lucky enough to have an abundance of bakeries , there are two which i would class more in the modern traditional class which are George’s in East St and Punch & Judy’s in West St, then we Have Leakers , which is also a favorite of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage Fame.
Arguably one of England’s oldest bakeries, Leakers was named Best Artisan Bakery in the annual Taste of Dorset Awards.
They aim to offer something different every day – and there’s always something to sample when you come to visit them!
And i can assure you they do offer something different , with all sorts of exotic flavours in the breads to tantalise the taste buds.
