Sunday is a day of rest
Well that’s what they say anyway , but not for us, after breakfast its lots of chore’s to get the B&B up together again for the New arrivals, but it doesn’t take long.
Yesterday i bought a 1920′s birdcage at Bridports street antique market , which i have hung in the breakfast room at the White House , looks good even if i do say so myself, all i have to do is get a stuffed parrot now .
We are so lucky here in Bridport , there is an abundance of great places to have Sunday Lunch which we recommend, in the town you have “The Market House” pub which does a wonderful carvery , and if you are looking for a cheaper option there is “The King Charles Tavern” which serves a massive meal with 8 veg and loads of meat for £5.50, one of my favorites is a few miles along the coast road at “The Crown” in the village of Puncknowle, which is out standing , and also not to forget “The Crown” at Up Loaders.
Of course Westbay itself has a number of Pub restaurants serving great food,”The Westbay” , “The George” , and “The Bridport Arms” ,” Seagulls ” all recommended,
And don’t forget probably one of the countries best fish restaurants “The Riverside”, and just a little further out At Burton Bradstock “The Anchor” is another outstanding Fish Restaurant.
